Celebrating Safer Internet Day!

Today, our students actively engaged in celebrating Safer Internet Day, a global event dedicated to promoting safe and responsible use of digital technology. Through creative activities and interactive games, they explored important aspects of online safety in a fun and educational way.

To begin, students collaborated using Padlet to create original slogans related to online safety. This allowed them to express their ideas creatively while reinforcing key messages about responsible internet use.

Next, under the guidance of  teacher Sezin, who suggested a playful approach, students participated in a word game that challenged them to reconstruct slogans using synonyms and antonyms. This engaging activity took the form of a pizza-making challenge, where they “recreated” their slogans slice by slice, adding a fun linguistic twist to the learning process.

To wrap up the day, teacher Marzena introduced a competitive and exciting online quiz on Blooket. This interactive game helped students consolidate their knowledge while keeping the atmosphere lively and engaging.

Through these activities, students not only enhanced their understanding of internet safety but also developed their creativity, teamwork, and language skills. Let’s continue to promote a safer and more responsible digital world together!
